Certified Master Hypnotist · Dzogchen Yogini · RYT · LMT

Professional Bio

Alison Preloznik’s work is grounded in a lifelong exploration of healing, contemplative practice, and compassionate care. After a near-death experience in 1999, she began studying therapeutic modalities and esoteric wisdom traditions. Her path led to initiation as a Tibetan Buddhist Dzogchen Yogini, study with Tibetan monks and lamas, and years of leading meditation and philosophical discussion groups.

In 2013, Alison completed yoga training in South Korea with International Yogacharya Ron Katwijk, deepening her understanding of somatic approaches. She later applied meditation and yoga practices while supporting active-duty military members and their families through PTSD, grief, and stress. After returning to the United States, she became a licensed massage therapist and served clients throughout the Tampa Bay area, including through in-home care.

Alison’s near-death experience also awakened intuitive abilities that became an important part of her work. She trained with renowned psychic and medium Denise Lescano and co-led intuitive and mediumship grief-support groups for families affected by sudden or tragic loss, while also offering private sessions.

During the pandemic, Alison expanded her training in trauma-informed care, completed a master’s-level program in chaplaincy and spiritual counseling, and became a Certified Master Hypnotist after more than 300 clinical training hours. In 2021, she opened her own practice and partnered with Growth and Recovery Counseling Center to provide trauma-informed, somatic, and behavioral support for grief and loss, trauma, post-traumatic growth, emotional regulation, relationships, anxiety, depression, and addiction recovery.

By 2023, Alison was living and working in Massachusetts, offering in-home and online sessions, crisis care, behavioral therapy, and direct, compassionate support for children and adults with trauma and disabilities. She believes deeply in contributing to her community through annual pro-bono sessions and sliding-scale fees.

Her continuing education includes somatic therapies, relationship strategies, crisis intervention, family systems, neurolinguistic programming, biofeedback, guided imagery, addiction recovery, medical hypnosis, past-life regression, Chöd, nervous-system regulation, and grief and loss recovery. Alison’s approach combines reflective communication with evidence-informed methods, always tailored to each person’s beliefs, needs, and life experience in support of greater self-mastery.
